When the last violent attack by her husband nearly kills Mandy, it confirms his vow to kill her if she and the children leave him. Mandy flees with her kids to start a new life far away from Rex with the help of a domestic violence support agency.  Starting from scratch at a new career, Mandy does everything in her power to make her new home a sanctuary for her family. Someone in her new town threatens the newfound peace they’ve found when little girls go missing and turn up dead.

Security expert, Mike Baker, offered his home and protection to Mandy and her children through his work with Safe Haven, the domestic violence agency that assisted Mandy and her family with relocation.  He offered her a job and a home while she learned to stand on her own.  He couldn’t stand by when events transpired putting the lives of Mandy and her children on the line. Not sure if it was her past or current events closing in on them, he would use every tool of his trade to protect them. His own daughter Emma was in danger as well.
